Ella and Richard Blink 2228 Grove Lane Wickerspoint, NY 10075 Dear Mr. and Mrs. Blink: If disaster struck, where would you turn? You might not know it, but Disaster Relief of America would probably find you. Last year, we were there when the flooding inundated Wilkes-Barre and so many people found themselves suddenly homeless without food, clothing or basic necessities. We were front and center when hurricane Alfonzo wreaked so much havoc in Miami providing the same services, offering moral support, and coordinating local relief efforts with the broader national support. And we were first on the scene when the vast fires ravaged southern California this past summer. Our ability to respond fast and first needs your help. We are nationally recognized for our efficiency, and I can assure you that any donations you make go directly where the relief is needed. We are a volunteer organization and have no paid positions. Ninety-four cents of every dollar is converted directly into disaster relief, a record very few organizations can top. I have enclosed a self addressed envelope and hope I receive it back with your gift in the very near term. Please consider making a contribution of $25 to this very worthy effort. Your donation will go a long way toward providing desperately needed help when and where it is needed most. |
